Fingerstyle & Classical Guitar Workshops with Markus Schlesinger & Carina Maria Linder
One to three-day workshops for beginners and advanced players with classical guitarist and instrumental teacher Carina Maria Linder & fingerstyle guitarist and composer Markus Schlesinger. This bridging of two seemingly different styles connects the world of classical music with popular culture and combines the techniques from both styles to broaden the guitarist's horizons, regardless of artistic background.
The courses are aimed at guitarists who have never come into contact with classical and fingerstyle music, as well as those who already have experience in these areas. In this workshop, simple folk accompaniment, arrangements of well-known jazz and pop songs, pieces and techniques in classical and Spanish/South American style, groovy compositions in open tunings and percussive techniques are covered in a progressive order.
Depending on your needs, lessons can be given using sheet music or tablatures.
Course content:

Introduction to open moods and the resulting benefits

Previous knowledge:
Simple song accompaniment with the most common open chords.

250,- Euro per person.

Costs of the workshop from 23-25.08.2024 at the Peilsteinhaus:
250,- Euro per person.
Accommodation is paid on site to the hut operators and can be reserved in advance with us. There are a limited number of rooms available at a price of 37 euros and an unlimited number of dormitory places available for 27 euros per night (25/15 euros for Alpine Club members). This price includes breakfast, the rest of the meals must also be paid on site.
Costs of the workshop from 30.08.-01.09.2024 at the Windischhütte:
350,- Euro per person in a single room
This includes the workshop, overnight accommodation in a single room, breakfast and dinner. Lunch and drinks are to be paid for by the participant .
